I was sitting in my office chair on that fateful day in 2011, brainstorming possibilities that would get me out of my consulting career and into one that was more fulfilling and made me happier. I knew I wanted to work with animals, but I wasn't sure in what capacity.

In my online searching, I stumbled across animal massage. My first thought was, "Wow, that's a thing? I want to do that!"

Thus Zen Dog was born! I spent the first couple of years as an animal massage company, but I still wasn't satisfied. I wasn't growing fast enough to leave my corporate job. I had already been working on the side as a pet sitter for a local company, and I really enjoyed that work. So I made the decision to add pet sitting and dog walking services in 2013. 

Fast-forward to exactly one year later, in 2014, I quit my corporate job and became a full-time pet care specialist! 

Over a decade in business and hundreds of happy clients later, we are so grateful to be successful doing what we love - taking care of your pets like they are ours. It's like getting to spend every day with good friends!
